OUR MISSION

The Canadian Chamber Orchestra serves and represents Canadian values through self-directed, chamber music endeavours. We seek increase access to classical music in Canada through multimodal performances in unique venues, and to provide a stage to the wealth of musical talent in Canada.

The CCO is broadening the visibility and impact of Canadian musicians, composers, and artists within Canada, and on the global stage. Enriching the cultural fabric of communities throughout Canada, and providing catharsis to our audiences.

Through ground-up collaboration between musical equals, we generate performances that are more individual, satisfying, and dynamic. By encouraging open discussion regarding decisions musical, programmatic, and organizational, we empower our musicians to have a stake in all parts of the artistic and organizational process.
