Why give?

  • A NEW VOICE

You contribution will go directly towards funding Canada's most exciting new ensemble, supporting the CCO's vision for the future of classical music in Canada

  • PROUDLY CANADIAN

The CCO represents Canada and it’s values of inclusiveness, hospitality, equality, and community throughout every level of our organization, fostering a musical environment that welcomes people from all backgrounds as performers, audience members, composers, and staff.

  • INNOVATIVE PROGRAMMING

Weaving a narrative is a powerful tool in the musicians toolkit. Programming choices done through a narrative, audience focused lens, builds cathartic experiences for audiences and performers. By sharing the music of Canadians of all backgrounds, fresh takes at the standard repertory, as well as international contemporary composers, we seek to platform all music to be valued no matter where it comes from.

  • IMPACTFUL EXPERIENCES

Musical excellence paired with thoughtful programming and a visually stimulating environment is a formula for an impactful experience. By combining our world-class musicians, commitment to innovative programming and inclusive ticketing, as well as performing in both traditional and contemporary concert spaces, audiences will have a deeply enjoyable experience they’ll yearn to come back for.

  • ENSEMBLE FOCUSED

Our 14 piece chamber orchestra allows for greater versatility – we can shrink and expand to fit the artistic goals of any program. By not limiting ourselves to a one-size-orchestra-fits-all approach, we expand the artistic potential of each program, bringing in guest artists in a variety of musical disciplines, thus enabling a more intimate, or grand performances depending on our venue.

  • ACCESSIBILITY

We champion accessibility through an annual concert initiative dedicated to contributing solutions to Toronto’s cost-of-living crisis. Select CCO concerts employ an innovative and inclusive donate-what-you-can ticketing model. Guests have the option of making a financial contribution, or supply 2 lbs of non-perishable food goods. These will be dispersed through our 24/25 Season Residency host, the Eglinton St. George United Church’s Food Pantry.
