After months of rehearsals, recording, editing, obsessing over details, and making music together, the Canadian Chamber Orchestra is ready to share its debut album with the world.
And we're doing it live.
Join us at Classical 96.3 FM in Toronto for a very special live-to-air broadcast celebrating the release of Where the Light Breaks. For one hour, the CCO will take over the studio for a live performance featuring music from the album, interwoven with interviews and conversations with the musicians themselves.
This isn't a typical concert.
You'll hear the music live, but you'll also hear the stories behind it: what brought these pieces together, what it means to make an album as a conductor-less orchestra, and what happens when fourteen musicians have to create, shape, and argue their way toward a shared artistic vision.
It's an opportunity to experience the CCO at close range performing, talking, laughing, and letting you in on the process behind the music.
And then we'll keep the celebration going.
Following the one-hour broadcast, guests are invited to an exclusive VIP cocktail reception with the musicians of the Canadian Chamber Orchestra. Raise a glass, meet the players, and celebrate the release of an album that marks an important new chapter for the CCO.
